The Softline Group has taken great steps over the years. Opening new subsidiaries in existing Softline countries, as well as entering new markets to underline the growth on European level, to continuing the further development of the Softline Group’s multi tool strategy by expending the partner network.
Growing Europe wide – the birth of the Northern Europe brand and DACH region coverage
In order to meet the increasing demand for high quality and independent Software & IT Asset Management expertise, in January 2017 the Softline Solutions Benelux organisation extended to Softline Solutions Northern Europe, focussing on the United Kingdom, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Iceland and the Benelux. The clear path towards further strengthening of the mid European region, meaning the DACH region (German, Austrian & Switzerland), has been set the year before. The Softline Solutions GmbH organisation is the facilitator of the growing success and further increase of the market share within that region.

Opening the Wolfsburg Office
Softline opened another new location in Wolfsburg in May 2019, creating 20 new jobs. Since the number of our customer projects in the North West Germany region increased significantly, we had to act. The effort to realize meetings from Leipzig is much higher and from the Wolfsburg location, significantly more appointments can be realized in one working day. This gave rise to the idea of establishing an additional office location in Wolfsburg in addition to our Softline locations in Munich and Leipzig. From Wolfsburg-Reislingen, new business is being developed in the city itself, but also in Hanover, Kassel or Göttingen. In our new office up to 40 employees can work on two floors on a total of 400 square meters. We are therefore well equipped for further growth at the Wolfsburg site.

Redesign and extension of the Leipzig office
In 2017 we recorded so many new customer projects in the Softline DACH region that we brought a large number of new colleagues on board at the same time. It was time to think about expanding the office space. In November 2017, the first workshop with our interior designers for renovation and space expansion took place. The previous 70 percent should become 100 percent occupancy of the 3rd floor in the Gutenberg Gallery. The renovation project was divided into four construction phases, because the renovation was to take place while the business was running. The last construction phase will be completed at the end of June 2020, so that we can move in in July and thus occupy the entire area on the 3rd floor. Our office shines in a modern look that fits perfectly with our dynamic team and offers enough space for further growth.
